CTB Volvo B6R / B6LE ( #1301 - #1361 ) In 1995, Citybus started to acquire new single-deck buses so as to take over the operation of 14 franchised bus routes from China Motor Bus in Hong Kong since September 1, 1995. Citybus introduced the Volvo B6R to Hong Kong which is the only Alexander DASH bodied B6R in Hong Kong. The Volvo B6R (#1301) acted as a demonstrator to show how suitable for the midibus serving on Stanley and Mid-level. Later from 1995 to 1998, Citybus introduced another Volvo model of single-deck buses, the Volvo B6LE, which is equipped with 'Low Entrance'. Totally 60 new buses have been acquired in the period. Four type of bodywork have been applied to the B6LE, which are the Plaxton Pointer w/single-door (#1302 - #1311), the Walter Alexander ALX200 (#1312 - #1321), the Plaxton Pointer w/dual-door (#1322 - #1331), and also the Jit Luen (#1332 - #1361).
