Citybus MAN NL262/R 12metres ( #1501 - #1580 ) In 1998, after the Citybus introduced a MAN 24.350 double-deck bus for services in Hong Kong, another batch of MAN buses also being acquired in January. The new bus, also first seen in Hong Kong, is MAN 18.260 single-deck bus (Commonly named as NL262/R). Totally 60 new MAN NL262/R have been acquired in the first batch. Citybus fleeted them as #1501 - #1560. In their early services, Citybus arranged them to serve on the Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok Airport shuttle bus services to as to take its advantages of large capacity. The MAN NL262/R with total length 12metres. Being designed with ultra low-floor, the space inside the saloon is very large. There are 31 luxury seating installed totally, and together with 38 standees, the maximum passenger capacity allowed is 69.
