Citybus Beifang Neoplan BN316 In 1990, Citybus introduced three Neoplan BN316 single-deck coaches to Hong Kong. They are all built in Beijing while two of them ( #1801 - #1802 ) are standard left-hand drive and the other one ( #1803 ) is right-hand drive. It is trusted that the #1803 is the only right-hand drive coach to be manufactured in People Republic of China. The bodywork of the three coaches are provided by Norinco which is designed by Neoplan, Germany. The three Neoplan BN316 is powered by a 12,760cc KHD Deutz V8 engine with the maximum power output of 260bhp. The transmission is used the Allison MT643. Those buses are installed with 44 coach seats which have reclining function.
